Jason and the kids began their annual pumpkin carving on a beautiful fall evening. We were able to take our projects outdoors and leave our mess there :) The kids began by picking their design and helping daddy draw it on the pumpkin. Mommy insisted on no eyebrows this year. Daddy has a thing for eyebrows and ours always look so silly. Mommy was the only one brave enough to touch the guts and clear out the pumpkins. Shortly after we finished carving we retreated inside for dinner. We finished to find Brutus and our neighbor's lab, Riley, enjoying a pumpkin snack. Good thing it was Lily's and she thought it was hilarious! So much for going to the zoo for the pumpkin smash - we had our very own.
