Braydon had a run in with the table (aka Mike Tyson) this week. As he explained to the doc while he was stitching him up, he was "speed walking" through the house and slipped. Smart kid, covering his tracks - now maybe he will follow the NO running in the house rule!
After a trip to urgent care, we quickly found out that Braydon's ear could only be fixed at Children's Hospital downtown. He sped there to beat rush hour traffic (B somehow napped on the way) but did not beat the slew of other hurt and ill patients. FIVE hours after the table took a bite out of his ear, we made it home! Here are a few pics of our patient. He is so brave!! They gave him 5 shots in the ear to numb it, 8 stitches to close the gaping hole, and then realized his head needed stitched too. Luckily his head was numbed with a topical cream and he only needed two more stitches.
oh my gosh!! how sad his lil ear looks...ahhh! so glad it wasn't worse tho!!!
